Rahul chawda, son of a farmer Ramesh Chawda from Chhattisgarh designed a drone

Rahul chawda, son of a farmer Ramesh Chawda from Chhattisgarh has designed a drone. Rahul says he got inspired to make a drone by watching the movie 3 Idiots. Rahul says he learned about drone, watching YouTube and reading about it on internet. He says his drone is a perfect example of 'Jugaad' technology, as much of his drone's spare parts consist of our daily use things.
Rahul Chawda used some spare parts found in garbage dumps and some parts he had to import from Japan and USA which cost him around 2 lac.
Rahul uses his drone to spread the fertilizer in his 15 acres of land. Earlier it used to take lot of time and some laborers to do the task, but using drone the work gets done within half an hour.
