Indians who made to the Everest

Raghav Joneja,
15 years and seven months, from Moradabad became the youngest Indian to scale the Mount Everest.

Raghav broke the record set by Manipur's Nameirakpam Chingkheinganba, at 16 years seven months and 11 days who had broked the record of Arjun Vajpai's.

Raghav achieved the remarkable feat on May 21 after embarking on an arduous 56 day-long journey.

Arjun Vajapyee was the youngest Indian to climb Mount Everest at the age of 16 years, 11 months and 18 days and Krishna Patil was the second youngest indian to climb Mount Everest at the age of 19 years.

Bachendri Pal is the first Indian woman to reach Mount Everest. She had reached to the Mt Everest top on 23rd May, 1984 at aorund 1:07PM IST.
Bachendri Pal was born on 24th May 1954 in Nakuri village,  Uttarkashi, Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India.

Tenzing Norgay born as Namgyal Wangdi famously known as Sherpa Tenzing was the first ever mountaineer to reach Mount Everest and he was also the first Indian-Nepalese to do so. Tenzing Norgay along with Edmund Hillary had reached the mount Everest  on 29th May 1953. Tenzing Norgay was born on late May 1914 in khumbhu, Nepal and he died on 9th May 1986. Time Magazine considers him as one of the 100 most influential people of 20th century.

Santosh Yadav born on 10th October 1967 in Joniyawas village of Rewari district, Haryana is the first woman in the world history to climb Mount Everest twice in a year. She had first climbed Mount Everest on May 1992 and then on May 1993.

Tashi Malik and Nungshi Malik are the first twins to climb mount Everest. The twins were born on 21st June 1991, Meerut in Uttarpradesh

Premlata Agarwal who was born on 1963 is an Indian mountaineer who on May 20, 2011 became the oldest Indian woman to have scaled the world's tallest peak, Mount Everest 8848 mtr, at the age of 48 years. She is also the first mountaineer from Jharkhand state of India.

Dr Manoj Vora a resident of Surendranagar, Gujarat became the first Gujarati to scale Mount Everest at the age of 52. Dr. Manoj Vora is a medical professional in US.
