India is full of Talents, there is no doubt in it. Yesterday only I introduced you with Intel Foundation's Innovator of the year 2013 award winner young lady Eesha Khare , who had developed a tiny device which can aide cellphone batteries to charge them in 20-30 secs and also increases the batteries life by 10 times. And today will introduce you to another dynamic and ambitious MITian +Andrea Colaco. Andrea Colaco is a Goan girl (South Goa-Velim) who second in her Xth Board from Margao's Fatima Convent High School and then topped her XIIth board with 96.17%, her cent percent scores in physics, Chemistry and Biology are still unbroken.
Andrea then did her under-graduation from BITS Pilani in 2007 and is also the recipient of Goa Scholars award for her master degree in +MIT in 2010. Andrea is currently doing her PhD in MIT.

What Andread Colaco actually did?
Andrea has won MIT $100K entrepreneurship competition for her Innovation which provides real-time millimeter accurate 3D-gesture Sensing on devices like mobile phones.

The latest sensing which was introduced through smartphones and tabs and iPads was the touch-sensing technology and is needless to say how popular it went and how popular, it is still round the globe. And now this 3D touch-free sensing technology was on the radar and this Andrea made a breakthrough with her Innovation in 3D-gesture Sensing.

Andrea was with Ahmed Kirmani, the co-founder of this 3D-gesture sensing technology, she and her team presented their innovation as '3dim Solution' at the MIT entrepreneurship Innovation competition.

Andrea is very ambitious and is hopeful with her innovation which is going to provide a new interface to the Mobile Technology. This touch free interface was most awaited technology and Andrea made it possible in reality, this makes her more thrilled with her innovation.

According to Andrea her touch-free or gesture sensing technology is very much feasible and the technology needs little extra milliwatts of battery charge than the regular ones, that is nearly One-seventh of the battery consumed by the camera application of smart phones.

Andrea's parents are now living in Doha, Qatar where her mother Antonette is homemaker and her father Aldavid Silverio is the assistant finance manager with a french company.
